Being Jon Stewart Popularity Soars!

beingjonstewartup.jpg

As of the end of April, the IMDB moviemeter shows Being Jon Stewart rising in popularity!  Up thirty-six percent in just one week.  If the stock market did that, the recession would be over.

NEWS ALERT: The rise of the movie continued in the first week of May.  After a one week gain of 36 percent to end April. Being Jon Stewart's popularlity jumped ANOTHER 35 percent in the first week of May.

The funny thing is that Jon Stewart, the real person, is suffering a decline in popularity,  The starmeter shows him down four percent in a single week!  At that pace, he would have negative popularity right around the time of this year's Emmy Awards.  Instead of winning another Emmy, he would have to start giving them back.

NEWS ALERT: The slide for Stewart himself continued in May.  The luster of his star lost ANOTHER seven percent in the first week of May.

We don't know what to make of this.  It validates our production decision to have NO association or affiliation with Jon Stewart while making this movie.  We have no desire to go down with him.

THE MOVIE IS (ALMOST) COMPLETE.  CHECK BACK HERE FOR NEWS ABOUT SCREENINGS and HOW YOU CAN SEE IT ON ARLINGTON NDEPENDENT MEDIA .
